Susan E. Beth is COO at NRD Capital. Ms. Beth was previously a vice president and the chief operating officer of Super Wash Inc., the nation's largest franchisor of self-serve car washes. She is a past member of the board of the International Franchise Association, and is a motivational speaker on topics such as -- passionate leadership, embracing change, building committed teams, rewarding relationships and dynamic cultures, visionary entrepreneurship, and goal-setting.

 

Ms. Beth grew up in a family company and has been immersed in business operations for more than 35 years. She took her first leap into franchising when she bought her first franchise at age 19. By the time she turned 35, she had founded three franchise-related companies, including the Franchise Capital Exchange, which connects franchise companies with financial and human resources.

 

She has chaired –

  • Roark Capital Group portfolio company Arby's Restaurant Group agreed to buy Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. for about $2.9 billion.

  • J.W. Childs Associates LP bought a majority of Orangetheory Fitness franchisee Honors Holdings LLC.

  • TSG Consumer Partners purchased a majority of Sunshine Fitness, an Orlando-based Planet Fitness franchisee.

  • Monogram Capital Partners bought a controlling stake in Atlantic Holdings, another Planet Fitness franchisee.

  • The Beekman Group took a majority stake in Another Broken Egg, a Miramar Beach, Fla.-based restaurant chain.

  • Sentinel Capital Partners acquired Captain D's, the franchisor and operator of 530 Captain D's restaurants in 21 U.S. states.

  • The Riverside Company invested in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based in-home care franchisor ComForCare.
