Michelle joined Shorehill Capital as a managing director just a few months ago, following a successful stint as vice president of marketing and business development at Platte River Equity where she originated the role for the firm in 2011. Before Platte River, she was director of corporate development for EchoStar Corp.
Previously, she was with Holden Capital, a Denver-based venture capital firm focused on early-stage technology investments. She was also an investment banking associate with J.P. Morgan Chase. She began her career in Cairo, Egypt, as a consultant on a USAID-backed project for the Egyptian government.
Michelle earned a joint MBA and MA in international relations from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a BA in international studies with a minor in economics from Colby College in central Maine.
