Those much-vaunted “exclusive” deals that private equity investors hunt for are like those improbable unicorns that venture capitalists dream about.

In fact, one recent survey shows that fully a quarter of professional private investors say that identifying and qualifying targets is their topmost concern!

Put differently, just like hunting for unicorns, hunting for “exclusive” PE deals may pay off occasionally, but it certainly works best if you know how to aim for them.

Register Now to attend The Capital Roundtable’s annual conference on “Best Practices for Sourcing Private Equity Investment Opportunities,” being held in New York City on Tuesday, November 28.

This is the place to be where you’ll gain valuable insights as our 20 experienced speakers ask “Is It Possible to Find “Exclusive” Deals?”

Click here to receive your best rate -- a savings of $400 off our regular conference rates.

When it comes to deal sourcing, many PE investors focus their attention on networking with investment bankers… Others on talking to lawyers, accountants, and other service providers…  Others on collecting business cards and brochures at industry conferences and trade shows… And still others on investing in e-mailings or even advertising on websites or in magazines.

All of these techniques are harder than ever to make successful. Your competitors have an abundance of available capital, and with more piling up all the time.

  • Lenders are offering credit to buyers at highly competitive prices and flexible  deal terms…
  • Sellers are increasingly savvy -- and picky…
  • High-quality deal volume seems to be shrinking, perhaps because sellers are holding back in the hope of tax changes that will enhance their valuations...
  • And the field of potential buyers continues to broaden with independent sponsors, family offices, strategic corporate investors, and others facing low entry barriers

Come hear from PE business development professionals about how they work with intermediaries and companies, and with the deal professionals at their own firms... how they ensure they’re communicating with the right people, have an edge in the right auction processes, and even have a shot at that private equity unicorn--an exclusive deal.

Here Are Three Key Reasons Why You Should Join Us

  1. Hear some creative ways BD professionals have approached the competitive market environment
  2. Learn from investment bankers how BD professionals can be most effective at communicating and navigating the land of auction processes
  3. Get tips from innovative firms that have landed great deals – what pricing and terms did they offer – or how did they land the opportunity?
