FULL-DAY CONFERENCE

Thursday, October 3, 2013

8:00 am – 5:00 pm
New York City

Designed to Meet the Needs of GPs, LPs, & Managers of Buyout, Growth Equity, Mezzanine, & Lending Funds, as Well as Independent Sponsors, Operating Partners, Portfolio Company Managers, and the Bankers, Lawyers, Accountants,

& Other Advisors Who Support Them

Faculty | Schedule | Registration | Location | Sponsorship | Audio Package |

In the six years since The Capital Roundtable launched the PE industry’s first conference exclusively for operating partners, the field has been upended.

  • Today there are more than 500 private equity operating partners, up from only 150 in 2008.
  • No longer are operating partners consultants. Instead they’re mostly seasoned CEOs, CFOs, and General Managers who have run companies -- and walk the walk.
  • And nowadays, when LPs are evaluating PE firms, they’re evaluating the track records of its operating partners just as much as they do the dealmakers.

The pressure on operating partners is enormous -- as a result they enjoy the collegiality of sharing ideas and swapping tactics with their industry colleagues.

That’s why, after nine successful conferences for operating partners, The Capital Roundtable is taking an all-new approach at our next edition, being held on Thursday, October 3rd, in New York City --

Every single one of our twenty panelists at this Capital Roundtable conference is a successful operating partner.

This means you’ll hear real-world examples from A-list speakers … which solutions are working best … which techniques they’ve discovered … what potential pitfalls they’ve escaped …

Best Practices for Overseeing Private Equity Portfolio Companies

20 PE Operating Partners Share

How They Beat the Expectations of GPs, LPs, & CEOs

The meaningful issues that keep operating partners challenged during the day, and often awake at night, will all be on the agenda. You’ll hear how they cope with time demands and how they deliver results.

Here are 5 important reasons you should definitely plan to attend this encore conference --

  • Hear examples from the field of do’s and don’ts that you can immediately put into practice
  • Discover proven models for achieving cross-functional savings
  • Understand how to leverage relationships and growth through actual case studies
  • Hear the preferred ways to manage portfolio companies without being guilty of overkill
  • Recognize which traps can throttle operating efforts and how others are escaping them

Doron D. Grosman, Partner at Court Square Capital Partners in New York City, will chair this must-attend event.

Doron is an accomplished operating partner with industry-recognized strategic, operations, organizational, and talent management skills.

Doron has been a member of Court Square’s team since 2010, working with portfolio companies on key strategic and operational initiatives. Previously, he was president of Hexcel Corp. and president of Quebecor Magazine Printing Solutions, where he successfully turned around both public companies. He started his career at Bain & Company and then spent eleven years in various senior executive roles at General Electric and as chief operating officer at Trane Global Air-Conditioning.

Doron received an MS in engineering from Witwatersrand University in South Africa and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
