AGENDA:

If you are a manager who wants to run your own company or a professional who wants to know more, this soup-to-nuts full-day hands-on MasterClass Workshop™ is designed to provide you with the know-how and the inspiration you’re looking for.

Don’t miss this chance to hear from more than 10 experts in one information-packed day. You’ll gain thousands of dollars’ worth of legal and business insights, save hundreds of hours of aggravation, and learn dozens of approaches for succeeding in finding and buying your own company

In this special New York Business Roundtable™ MasterClass Symposium ™, we’ve put together a group of expert speakers to address these issues. It’s being led by Andrew Sherman, a prominent Washington-based attorney who has written a best-selling book on how to buy businesses.

Maybe you lost your job, and you’re looking for your “next big thing.” Maybe you sold your last company, and you’re looking to repeat your success. Or maybe the company you’re working for is up for sale, and your colleagues are considering a management buyout. Whatever . . . buying and building your own company is a hugely appealing option.

But finding a company —-the right company —-is a huge challenge. And lining up the right financing is hugely complicated. When it comes to sellers, many are reluctant –-they’re telling you they plan to hold off right now, and recruit a manager instead. Others are making their companies available …but by the time you hear about them, the competition is intense, or the owners are demanding unrealistic sums.

And all that’s just for starters. How about due diligence? Valuation? Taxes? Negotiating with the seller, the investors, the bankers? What about taking over a fallen angel public company? Is buying a franchise a realistic route?

Still and all, many buyers, just like you, are successfully ferreting out companies and buying them. What do they know that you need to?
